PORTUGAL AIR SUMMIT ´18
TOOK PLACE ONCE AGAIN AT PONTE DE SOR MUNICIPAL AIRFIELD ON 24, 25, 26 AND 27 MAY 2018.

The significance of research and development was also addressed, not only from a sector evolution perspective, but also in terms of jobs creation and the qualification of human resources. There were issues specific to the sector addressed that raise the interest of all those connected to this field, with political interest, and there are those that were of a more general nature.

The summit focused especially on sector sustainability, and presented relevant analyses on this subject and did offset the carbon footprint caused by the event.

Portugal Air Summit 2018 also offered a stand-out novelty – the ARC, Air Race Championship. This is a unique plane race at a world level, to which the public won’t remain indifferent and which promises to attract thousands of people. Following on from the huge success in Cascais in 2014, and in Lisbon in 2016, where more than 800 thousand people made their way to the race venue, this time it’s the skies of Ponte de Sor that will welcome this amazing event, integrated in the Portugal Air Summit 2018 program.

Portugal Air Summit 2018 once again embraced the major goal of contributing towards the development of corporate activity in the field of air transport and aerial work, aircraft building and maintenance, aircraft parts and equipment manufacturing and maintenance, handling services, the supply and provision of aviation related services, teaching and vocational training.
